Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is hiring compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home in Clarendon Hills, IL. The role offers paid training, weekly pay, direct deposit, flexible hours, and mileage reimbursement, with health insurance available for eligible employees.

The caregiver will provide reminders for medications, assist with mobility and daily activities, support personal care, and follow individualized care plans.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene; support clients with daily activities.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and light housekeeping; meal preparation.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments as needed.
• Report incidents to Care Coordinator and follow care plans.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time.
