Job summary

Always Best Care Chicagoland is seeking compassionate caregivers to help seniors stay safe and independent at home. The role offers paid training, hourly pay from $19 to $20, weekly pay, direct deposit, flexible hours, and mileage reimbursement between clients.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, mobility assistance, personal care, light housekeeping, shopping support, and following care plans. Driver's license and 1+ year experience are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year caregiving experience (home care preferred).

• Strong housekeeping and cooking with dietary awareness.

• Shop for clients or accompany them shopping as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Report unusual incidents to Care Coordinator.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver responsibilities:

• Medication Reminders
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Help clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercises.
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop if needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals.
• Report any unusual incidents to our Care Coordinator
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
• Follow the Care plan.

Caregiver Requirements:

• Previous home care experience of 1+ years.
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints.
• Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner.
• Outstanding communication, time management, and interpersonal skills.
• Driver license
• Physical endurance to complete required tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to work in the USA.
• Must be very reliable.
• Must be willing to work full-time or part-time
