Job summary

Vistra Nuclear Operations Company in Oak Harbor, Ohio, is seeking a Civil Engineering Manager to lead the civil/structural scope for Extended Power Uprates (EPU) projects. You will ensure designs meet NRC licensing bases and fleet standards, coordinating with EPCs, OEMs, and site engineering to deliver safe, constructible solutions that support long-term operability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; required.
• 10+ years in heavy industrial or nuclear engineering, with 5+ years in civil/structural design and construction.
• Experience on Extended Power Uprates, large component replacements, or >$1B infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NRC licensing bases, INPO, ASME, ANSI, and ACI/AISC codes.
• Ability to lead discipline-specific teams and interface with EPCs, OEMs, site operations.
• Experience with seismic analysis and NRC design-basis compliance preferred.
