Job summary

charity: water is seeking a Key Relationships Officer in the United States to cultivate, pitch, and steward donors. You will visit supporters both virtually and in person, articulate our mission, and grow giving over time. You’ll report to the Associate Director of Key Relationships, collaborate with the wider team, and contribute to revenue targets.

The role requires regular travel across the U.S. and managing a portfolio of major gift donors capable of $10K+ annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–7 years of frontline fundraising experience with a proven track record of closing gifts of $10,000+.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong relationship-building skills.
• Ability to travel within the United States regularly.

Responsibilities

• Build and steward a portfolio of major gift supporters in the assigned region.
• Visit supporters regularly (in person and virtually) and communicate organizational priorities and donor impact.
• Develop a metrics-driven strategy for the portfolio and keep CRM records up to date.
• Partner with the Key Relationships team to contribute to revenue targets.
