Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Experience securing major gifts ($10,000+) from a donor portfolio or private-sector customers.
  • Knowledge of moves management and moving donors through identification, qualification, cultivation, stewardship and solicitation.
  • Experience using donor/customer management software for tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to compose/edit business correspondence with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors ($10,000+).
  • Manage a portfolio of 70–100 prospects.
  • Use moves management to move donors through pipeline stages.
  • Log donor interactions in the CRM and generate proposals.
  • Coordinate meetings with museum leadership and Trustees; support events.
  • Occasional regional travel and evening/weekend availability.
