Secure Community Network (SCN) seeks a Major Gifts Officer to expand its major giving program across the United States, identifying and cultivating new and existing donors and family foundations. The role focuses on stewardship and strategic engagement to grow unrestricted and restricted giving in support of SCN's mission.
The officer will manage a donor portfolio from $5,000 to $150,000, develop proposals, and work closely with leadership to align donor interests with SCN priorities.

The Major Gifts Officer is responsible for elevating Secure Community Network's fundraising efforts through the continued expansion of the organization's major giving program, including identification, qualification, cultivation, and solicitation of new and existing individual donors and family foundations nationwide, as well as implementing stewardship giving strategies to enhance sustained financial support for our mission.
This role may be based anywhere in the US. Our main office is located in Chicago, so local candidates would work out of our office in a hybrid model and candidates based elsewhere would travel to Chicago as needed. Regardless of location, this role requires frequent travel across the US for fundraising-related meetings and events.
The Secure Community Network (SCN), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is the official homeland safety and security organization of the Jewish community in North America. The target annual salary range for this position is $115,000-$120,000. Final annual salary offered will be determined through a thorough assessment of multiple factors and criteria which may include candidate experience and qualifications, available market data, internal salary equity, and budget considerations.
