Job summary

The University of Kansas Health System is seeking an Associate Development Director to lead the acquisition and retention of mid-tier and major gifts. You will move prospects along the donor continuum and collaborate with hospital leadership to support system priorities.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Health Care Administration (or related field) and at least 2 years in nonprofit fundraising, with experience in Raiser's Edge. Strong communication and stewardship skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Care Administration or related field.
• 2+ years nonprofit fundraising or related experience (PR, healthcare management, or sales).
• 1+ year experience with Raiser's Edge or similar system.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital leadership and fund development staff to support health system priorities.
• Cultivate, solicit, and steward mid-tier and major gift prospects and donors.
• Assist with advisory boards and community volunteers engaged in fundraising activities.
