Job Description

Who You'll Work With

As a member of the Arista Sales team, you will represent Arista to our customers, acting as their internal champion to solve problems. You will align Arista’s technical resources to achieve customer business outcomes, partnering with skilled Customer Engineers, Professional Services, and Executive teams. This role typically reports to a Regional Sales Manager or Area VP of Sales.

What You'll Do

We seek a proven Major Account Manager to join our growing Sales organization. You will serve as a trusted advisor, implementing sales strategies to exceed targets in SLED accounts in Texas. Technical acumen and a track record in selling data center solutions are highly desirable.

Job Responsibilities

  • Exceed sales objectives and promote the Arista brand in SLED accounts in Texas.
  • Utilize consultative selling to address business needs related to hybrid cloud computing and legacy IT systems, covering Arista’s product portfolio including Cloud Networking platforms, EOS, Cognitive Campus Networking, Wi-Fi Campus networking, Cloud Vision, Network Monitoring Fabric, NDR, Endpoint, and AI-driven Network Security solutions.
  • Meet with key stakeholders and C-level executives to present Arista’s value proposition.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers to design solutions that reduce total cost of ownership.
  • Partner with technology providers to identify prospects and demonstrate solutions.
  • Manage key channel relationships and develop strategic account plans.
  • Conduct demand generation activities such as events and forums.
  • Work with marketing on plans and best practices.
  • Stay updated on partner solutions, competitors, and industry strategies.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have a hunter mentality, a proven sales record in technology, and the ability to build relationships at all levels. They should be influential, trusted advisors, and embody values of trust, collaboration, respect, integrity, and fun.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent and 8+ years of technology sales experience.
  • Proven success in direct sales within target accounts and exceeding targets.
  • Relevant industry background in data center or networking (LAN/WAN, SDN).
  • Strong network within the territory and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Previous experience and technical knowledge in Networking, SDN, NFV, Data Center, Cloud computing, etc.
