About the Role

Responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to companies within an assigned account list. This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to Irvine, CA so that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities.

Your Impact

1. Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers at the Major Account level, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts.
2. Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and environmental changes.
3. Develop strategic plans to address customer requirements locally, including short-term and long-term goals.
4. Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to internal departments of the named accounts to ensure excellent customer relations and support.
5. Develop plans to introduce Canon technology, services, software, and third-party solutions to meet customer needs.
6. Establish high-level relationships with the customer base to foster long-term partnerships.
7. Gain new market share through strategic prospecting and resource utilization to meet customer requirements.

About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, plus 5 years of related experience.
• Recent experience in office technology, B2B, outside sales.
• Strong communication skills and the desire to build solid relationships with various businesses.
• Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry.
• Ability to work autonomously with excellent time management skills.
• Some travel within the local market, possibly including overnights (valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required).

Anticipated base salary range: $60,000 - $81,550 annually. This role is eligible for commission and a transportation allowance.
