The Major Account Coordinator - Region Concepts (MAC-RC) supports US Foods’ team-based selling strategy to drive profitable growth within the Region Concept market segment. They proactively assist with customer support, sales preparation, and customer management, working across multiple US Foods’ markets, areas, and regions.

This remote position allows work from anywhere in the U.S., excluding Hawaii and U.S. Territories, with working hours aligned to Pacific and Mountain time zones.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Daily Operations - 5%
  2. Support transactional activities like service request management and corporate customer requests.
  3. Sales Support - 70%
  4. Participate in sales planning, build customer relationships, produce reports, coordinate vendor contracts, analyze pricing, prepare business reviews, and manage customer-specific product and service recommendations.
  5. Support customer retention by identifying at-risk customers and making proactive recommendations.
  6. Personal Development - 5%
  7. Engage in performance management, participate in sales meetings, and pursue personal growth opportunities.
OTHER INFORMATION

Supervision: N/A

Relationships: Collaborates internally with various departments and externally with customers and vendors.

Work Environment: Fully remote, working from home.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 5 years in sales, support, or analyst roles, with a proven track record in customer support and analytics.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and quick to learn US Foods’ systems.
  • Able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and support customers across time zones.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
  • High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in food service/distribution and third-party ordering systems is a plus.
