Performance Foodservice in St. Louis, MO is seeking a production maintenance technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment across the plant.
You will follow preventive maintenance schedules, comply with GMP, and work with a team to keep operations safe and efficient. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and 1–2 years of production maintenance experience, with skills in data interpretation, mechanical repairs, and welding.
Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, replace, adjust and modify various types of production equipment including structural metal repair and preventative maintenance duties following standard accepted methods, practices and procedures in emergency and non-emergency situations and ensuring all safety and quality standards are met including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Communicates and interacts with co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
1-2 years Interpret data requiring advanced skills knowledge equivalent to 1-3 years training in production maintenance; wide variety of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of meters and diagnostic equipment.
