Job summary

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is hiring a Maintenance Technician for the 1st Shift at our onsite facility. Starting pay range is $26.00-$33.00 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus and benefits from day one, including a 401(k) with match and paid time off.

The role involves planning plant improvements, scheduling maintenance, performing PM and PDM per ISO and NEC standards, and troubleshooting PLCs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AA or technical school preferred.
• 3–5 years related experience and/or training.
• Must complete a blueprint reading course.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
• Create, schedule, and follow up maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, PM and PDM in CMMS (MP2).
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment per PM program to ISO and electrical standards.
• Troubleshoot PLCs and related components; read and modify electrical prints.

Work Model: This is a fully onsite role, with work performed at your designated Regal Rexnord office.

Starting pay range of $26.00-$33.00/hour

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with planning and implementing plant improvements and expansions.
• Creates, schedules, and follow up maintenance assignments, breakdown work orders, Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PDM) work orders in CMMS (MP2).
• Perform Preventative Maintenance on equipment as required by PM Program within the guidelines of ISO standards and electrical standards.
• Work independently in troubleshooting and repair problems with Programmable Logic Controllers and related components when required.
• Maintain required documentation and files for equipment. This should include all prints and detailed information needed to document that equipment is properly maintained.
• Maintain the parts and material replenishment process for equipment repaid in order to reduce/minimized down time of productions.
• Be able to read, interpret, and modify electrical prints and schematics and document all self-created changes.
• General understanding and hands on experience with explosion proof and intrinsically safe work environments.
• General understanding and hands on experience with explosion proof and intrinsically safe work environments. Knowledge of applicable NEC and NFPA codes.
• Proficiency in electrical installations with conduit and wiring practices.
• Experience using sensing and control devices. Proximity switches through beam sensors, laser distance sensors)
• Experience using both DC and AC monitors, VG drives and Servo Controlled Systems.
• Support and follow the Lock Out/Tag Out program.
• Must fully understand and adhere to the ARC Flash and electrical shock prevention.

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred.
• -Three-Five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must successfully complete a blueprint reading course.
• Ability to write reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively to associates of the organization.
• Experience in the use of care of a variety of tools, equipment, and machines are essential.
• Working knowledge of all the construction trades is required, including electrical wiring, electronic controls, troubleshooting of PLC's, machining, plumbing, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
