Job summary

East Bay Post Acute is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to join our team. You will assist with routine building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep to help create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The successful candidate will have basic maintenance knowledge, the ability to troubleshoot minor issues, lift and move supplies, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or handyman experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance, repairs, and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot minor maintenance issues.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move maintenance supplies as needed.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus.
