This position is responsible for routine cleaning, floor care, restroom and common-area maintenance, waste removal, and other facility-related tasks. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, can work independently with minimal supervision, and understands the importance of maintaining a safe and professional workplace.### Essential Responsibilities* Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of all plant facilities.* Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and clean assigned areas.* Strip and wax floors as needed.* Clean and maintain bathrooms, showers, break rooms, kitchen areas, and other common areas.* Empty trash and maintain appropriate waste disposal practices.* Monitor and support the facility's recycling program.* Properly use and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.* Follow all safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals.* Identify and report maintenance, safety, or facility concerns to the Facility Engineer.* Complete special cleaning and facility projects as assigned.* Maintain a professional and cooperative working relationship with employees throughout the facility.* Perform additional duties as necessary to support the needs of the company.### Qualifications & Experience* High School Diploma or equivalent required.* Two or more years of experience cleaning commercial facilities, preferably in a manufacturing environment.* Working knowledge of cleaning equipment, supplies, and chemicals.* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.* Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.* Ability to effectively communicate and work with people at all levels of the organization.### Physical Requirements* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, including 8-10 hours or more.* Ability to frequently bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive movements.* Ability to lift and carry up to **60 pounds**.* Ability to perform physical cleaning activities throughout the workday.### FLSA Status**Hourly Non-Exempt**### Reports To**Facility Engineer**### Supervisory Responsibilities**None**### Employment DisclaimerThis position description is intended to outline the primary duties, qualifications, and scope of the position but is not intended to limit the employee to only the duties identified.
