Job summary

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia. You will perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the property and support a great guest experience.

This year-round role offers low-cost housing, weekly pay, and opportunities to grow within our nationwide locations. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• No high school diploma or GED required.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC & mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with hand/power tools.
• Minimum of two years of previous experience in general maintenance and repair.
• Previous experience with fire and boiler heat systems preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Paint, hang, and repair drywall as needed, and install shelves, hooks, and closet rods.
• Change light bulbs, replace fixtures, open clogged drains, and repair leaks.
• Perform lawn maintenance, including mowing and removing weeds.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in working order and keep the maintenance room in neat condition.
• Assist with loading or unloading trucks of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Drive a company vehicle daily.

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is looking for a full-time Maintenance Worker to join our team at Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance duties throughout the property.

Pay

$16.00 - $16.00 / hour
