Job summary

The Army Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) program at Fort Sill, OK seeks a working leader to supervise three or more trades and labor personnel. You will ensure safety, adherence to procedures, and timely completion of tasks on a government installation.

You will coordinate tasks, inspect progress, and set a productive pace alongside your team. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 pounds are required.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated skills in successfully operating standard tools.
  • Experience in accomplishing the types of duties described in this job.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2. to include a Tier 1 background investigation with childcare checks.
  • A health assessment is required.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license to operate assigned government vehicles.
  • The employee must maintain a current driver’s license while in this job.
  • May lift and move materials weighing up to 40 pounds and, occasionally heavier items with assistance.
  • Work requires standing, stooping, bending, climbing, crawling, and kneeling for extended periods in uncomfortable positions.

PCS Costs
  • Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Allowances and Differentials
  • This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week -- whichever gives the employee more benefit. Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM.
  • Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
