ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF JOB:

1. Performs general maintenance and repairs for Parks vehicles, buildings, and equipment as required
2. Maintains plumbing and electrical systems, vehicles, pavilions, comfort stations, playground equipment
3. Completes landscaping, masonry, and construction
4. Completes other projects as required

OTHER DUTIES OF JOB:

1. Individual will work up to 40 hours per week and must be available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
2. Individual must be flexible in scheduling of hours.
3. Participate in trainings as required.
4. Performs higher skilled duties as assigned only after passing proper testing.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED:

Receives direct instruction and supervision from the Park manager

SUPERVISION GIVEN:

None

WORKING CONDITIONS:

1. Travels frequently to various locations within park.
2. Works indoors in adequate facility with adequate temperatures and lighting, and normal exposure to dust and dirt.
3. Frequent outdoor exposure to sun, rain, wind, snow, ice, and seasonal fluctuating temperatures.

PHYSICAL/MENTAL CONDITIONS:

1. Must be able to stand for long periods of time throughout the work day, with intermittent periods of walking and sitting.
2. Must be able to execute frequent periods of sitting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and reaching to carry out job duties.
3. Some work indoors in adequate facility with adequate lighting, temperature, and ventilation.
4. Dexterity requirements range from fine manipulation of fingers/hands to coordinated movements of feet/legs/torso to maintain balance.
5. Heavy work, with frequent lifting and carrying of objects and materials up to 75 pounds.
6. Must be able to walk and be on the move for at least eight hours per day.

1. Requirements:
   High School Diploma or equivalent
   1-2 years construction, maintenance, or similar experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities
   Must possess a current Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License, Class A or B
