Qualifications

Not less than five (5) years employment in the HVAC/BMS field including at least three (3) years in school building maintenance.
Skilled work at the journeyman level applied to HVAC/BMS systems and repair of building and related mechanical and electrical systems, equipment, and furnishings.
Equivalent experience, apprenticeship, vocational school, or on-the-job training may be accepted in lieu of these requirements.
Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices in HVAC.
Possession of a Connecticut motor vehicle operator's license.
Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
Ability to lift 50-90 pounds and climb ladders.
