Job summary

Clark County is seeking a Maintenance Worker I (Custodian) Crew Leader to maintain county facilities through custodial tasks and supervision of a crew. The role requires knowledge of cleaning materials, equipment and procedures, and the ability to lift, stand and work outdoors in varied weather.

It also demands reliability, teamwork, and following instructions with minimal supervision. Qualifications include a valid Driver’s License and vehicle liability insurance, and a commitment to punctual

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s License and vehicle liability insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning materials, methods, equipment and procedures.
• Considerable knowledge of the use and care of cleaning equipment.
• Physical stamina and agility to perform manual custodial and light maintenance tasks.
• Ability to understand and follow simple oral and written instructions.
• Ability to maintain good productive work habits, including timeliness and honesty.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, management, and the public.
• Ability to assume the responsibility of working with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions, including outdoors in extreme heat and cold.
• Ability to work effective as a team member.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
