Holy Cross Hospital - Salt Lake is seeking a Maintenance Worker II to keep buildings, grounds, and equipment safe and functional for patients, staff, and visitors. You will perform carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing tasks, and provide excellent customer service while working with autonomy in a supportive team.

Daily responsibilities include completing work orders, performing safety testing, and maintaining Life Safety components in a fast-paced hospital environment to support

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two to four years of general maintenance experience is preferred.
• Valid State Driver's License is required.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Performs a variety of general maintenance, repair, overhaul, and construction duties.
• Constructs and repairs various items (i.e., building woodwork, windows, ceiling tiles, walls/floors, cabinets, counter tops, doors, office furniture and chairs).
• Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and meets all applicable codes.
• Inspects and performs repairs on Life Safety components (i.e., fire/smoke wall, doors, exit corridors, exit stairs, & chute doors).
• Comprehensive understanding of equipment operation, building systems, emergency procedures, and the ability to successfully provide service as needed.
• Responsible for accurate and timely completion of documentation in Computer Maintenance Management System i.e., work orders, equipment, and area records.

Job Requirements

Required

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) to four (4) years of general maintenance experience
• Valid State Driver's License
• Strong communication skills: ability to read, write and speak English

Preferred

• Completion of a trade school program
• Technical degree in a facilities related field
• Journeyman Plumber License or certification, HVAC or Electrical also accepted
