Volunteers of America–Greater New York is seeking a Maintenance Worker I to join our team at New York facilities. The role focuses on cleaning buildings and grounds and performing minor repairs as needed, contributing to a safe, well-maintained environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, handling deliveries, and supporting inventory control, with backup support during emergencies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform cleaning, basic repairs, and inventory tasks.

The Maintenance Worker I is responsible for cleaning of the building and grounds and some minor repairs.
