Job summary

Volunteers of America – Greater New York is seeking a Maintenance Worker I in Bronx, NY. You will clean building and grounds and perform minor repairs to support a safe, welcoming shelter and program sites.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, receiving deliveries, assisting with inventory, and providing backup in emergencies. High school diploma or GED is preferred.

Position: Maintenance Worker I

The Maintenance Worker I is responsible for cleaning of the building and grounds and some minor repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Principal Responsibilities
