Lions Head Woods Condominium Assoc in Lakewood, NJ is seeking a dependable Maintenance Worker to support our residential community. You will perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and a variety of repairs to homes, buildings, and common areas, ensuring safety and quality throughout the property.

The ideal candidate has hands-on handyman skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience with exterior repairs.

Qualifications

  • Residential or facilities maintenance experience.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Experience with exterior residential repairs.
  • General knowledge of carpentry, painting, and residential maintenance.
  • Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
  • Comfortable using a tablet or mobile device to manage work orders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and general community cleanup.
  • Complete maintenance work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform residential and exterior repairs, including:gable vent repair and replacement; siding repairs; soffit and fascia repairs; gutter repairs; minor carpentry; exterior building maintenance; residential painting; general handyman repairs.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools, including drills, power washers, ladders, and other maintenance equipment.
  • Receive, update, and close work orders using a company-issued tablet and computerized maintenance management system.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and community improvement projects.
  • Work closely with the Community Management Office and Board members to prioritize maintenance requests.
  • Provide courteous and professional customer service to residents.
  • Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, proactive, and versatile Maintenance Worker to join our residential community in Lakewood, NJ. This position is responsible for maintaining the appearance, safety, and functionality of residential homes, community buildings, and common areas.

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting throughout the workday.
