Maintenance Worker / Driver for Assisted Living Facility

Job Requirements:

  • MUST PASS LIVE SCAN BACKGROUND CLEARANCE
  • MUST PROVIDE A NEGATIVE TB TEST
  • MUST HAVE A GOOD DRIVING RECORD

++ Plumbing work, painting, flooring repair, and upkeep.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, and be highly skilled with various hand and power tools.

  • Must have Maintenance Experience
  • Experience in maintenance or environmental services preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working in a customer-focused role
  • Ability to maintain the building
  • Perform handyman tasks for residents
  • Perform preventative maintenance around the community
  • Refurbish living units for the next occupants (paint, repair holes in walls, etc.)
  • Perform exterior maintenance including mowing and tending to plants
  • Assist with housekeeping
  • Ensure a safe living environment for residents
  • Ability to remain flexible and assist with tasks as needed
  • Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people, particularly the elderly and their family members
  • Ability to communicate openly, honestly and responsibly with others
  • Ability to maintain a customer focus treating all customers with respect and integrity
  • Ability to accept responsibility for agreements made and follow through as appropriate
  • Strong organizational skills are required

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5 PM

Experience:

  • Plumbing: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Authorization:

  • United States (Required)

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly or Twice monthly
