Job summary

Aramark in Doylestown, PA is seeking a Maintenance Worker to support facility operations in a secure correctional environment. You’ll perform day-to-day maintenance and basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and general building systems using a CMMS work order system.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with rotating on-call about every 9 weeks. Ideal for someone with trade experience who is reliable, safety-focused and comfortable in structured environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance, facilities, construction or skilled trade (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
• Follow basic safety procedures due to physical risks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call (1 week every 9 weeks)
• Ability to work in a correctional facility environment and follow security guidelines
• Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks

Job Description

In this hands-on role, you'll perform day-to-day maintenance and basic repairs on plumbing, electrical, and general building systems using a CMMS work order system. You'll complete preventative maintenance tasks, respond to service requests, and help keep the facility safe, operational, and well-maintained. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM, with a rotating on-call assignment approximately once every 9 weeks. This role is ideal for someone with trade experience who is reliable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in structured environments. If you have experience as a maintenance technician, handyman, or in a skilled trade, this is a strong opportunity for consistent, steady work.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
• Willingness to participate in rotating on-call coverage (1 week approximately every 9 weeks)
• Ability to work in a correctional facility environment and follow strict security guidelines
• Physically able to lift, bend, climb, and perform hands-on maintenance tasks

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
