Job Title: Maintenance Worker B
Location: Irvine CA 92618
Duration: 06 Months Contract
Shift: 05:00 AM - 01:30 PM (Mon-Fri)
Pay Rate: $ 21.00/hr - $26.00/hr

POSITION SUMMARY:

• With direct guidance in a team environment, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks of a routine scope and nature in one or more of the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, painting, air conditioning, and facility, equipment and machinery cleaning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities may include some or all of the following:

• Perform general maintenance duties in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, painting and air conditioning. Perform minor repair to clogged drains and plumbing equipment.
• Assist in cleaning and lubricating machinery and other mechanical equipment.
• Assist maintenance mechanics or technicians.
• Remove metal shavings, replace cutting fluids and clean machinery and area around machines.
• Clean rest rooms and replenish rest room supplies.
• Maintain safety standards and keep floors clean and dry.
• Move supplies, equipment and furniture. Perform other related responsibilities.

Job Requirements:

• One year maintenance or related experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.
• Required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May require forklift operator certificate.
• Must demonstrate effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.
