Job Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs is looking to fill a Maintenance Worker 2 position to work at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery near Van Meter, conveniently located along Interstate 80, west of Des Moines.

This Person Will Be Responsible For

• Operating power tools and equipment to open and close grave sites,
• Setting and maintaining headstones,
• Preparing designated areas for services,
• Snow removal
• Other general landscaping and maintenance duties.
