City of Clyde Hill is seeking a Maintenance Worker to perform a range of manual and semi-skilled maintenance tasks across city property, parks, and water facilities. The role involves operating a variety of heavy and light vehicles, equipment, and power tools, with emphasis on safety and proper operation.
First application review is August 21; position supports essential public safety operations during emergencies and may require emergency work.
Maintenance Workers perform a variety of manual skilled and semi-skilled duties in the maintenance and operation of City-owned property, streetscapes, parks and recreation grounds, and surface water facilities. This is an essential element of the City’s public safety response during emergencies (natural disasters and extreme weather conditions, etc.) and may be required to work on an emergency basis. Maintenance Workers need to demonstrate proper and safe operation of a variety of heavy and light vehicles, specialized equipment, and/or hand and power tools. Specialized training and/or licensing may be required for some tasks.
