Cogent is looking for an experienced, hardworking, self-motivated individual to work in our Tulsa, OK facility as a Maintenance Worker.

As Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the shop; sweeping shop floors daily, scrubbing shop floors as required, emptying recycling bins, replacing lights, emptying shop scrap into proper scrap bins, and performing other requested maintenance as needed.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization within the yard; picking up trash daily, keeping old pallets cut up and properly disposed of, etc.
• Performing maintenance to the office facility; changing light bulbs, emptying recycle bins, and other duties as assigned by management.
• Organizing customer inventory and new inventory as directed by others.
• Cleaning service vehicles on a weekly basis.
• Delivering equipment for service jobs as requested.
• Assisting in the loading and unloading of pumps and equipment for clients, salespeople, and service personnel.
• Assisting in cutting steel for various base plate fabrications.
• Maintaining a neat and orderly steel rack so that the inventory can be easily counted.
• Under the direction of the Service Manager, performing general safety checks and maintaining safety standards for the facility; fire extinguishers, forklift daily inspection, etc.

Position Maintenance Worker Position Requirements

A qualified candidate will have the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance or general labor is preferred.
• Forklift certification required (or within 90 days of hire training provided).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; Class E license required (or within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Organization and maintenance skills.
