Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Maintenance Worker at the Gadsden Correctional Facility in Quincy, FL. The role involves repairing and maintaining structures, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related systems in compliance with ACA, FDOC, and DMS directives.
Responsibilities include supervising inmates, performing repairs such as lighting, plumbing, and painting, and coordinating with contractors when on-site repairs are not feasible.
Pay: $19.37/hr.
Location: 6044 Greensboro Highway Quincy, Florida 32351
Status: Full Time, Monday – Friday

Maintenance Workers are responsible for performing repairs and maintenance of structures, electrical systems, plumbing, washers and dryers, heating and ventilation and air conditioning systems in compliance with American Correctional Association (ACA) standards, Management & Training Corporation (MTC), Florida Department of Corrections (FDOC) and Florida Department of Management Services (DMS) directives.
It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
High school diploma or equivalent, Technical training and two (2) years related experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required. Valid driver’s license in the state of Florida with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
Must successfully complete annual in-service training requirements.
