You’ll run routine inspections and maintenance and create preventative measures to keep our equipment running smoothly as long as possible and minimize any risk. Compensation:

$23 - $27 hourly

Responsibilities:

• Manage maintenance requests as required
• Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep equipment operating efficiently and prevent safety risks
• Inspect the building for structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
• Keep records of equipment servicing and repairs
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing, HVAC, and electrical wiring
• Perform drywall repairs, touch-ups, and finishing work (patching, sanding, mudding, painting)
• Prep and paint interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring smooth, professional finishes
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing and electrical issues
• Handle warranty repairs, including settling cracks, minor adjustments, and cosmetic fixes
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants and property managers, prioritizing based on urgency

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques, and procedures
• Knowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Availability to respond to on-call maintenance requests during nights and weekends
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent work ethic, communication, time management, and attention to detail
