The Roman Catholic Diocese of Phoenix seeks a dedicated maintenance worker to support the upkeep of its facilities. This role requires ensuring the church buildings and grounds are maintained safely and attractively while overseeing janitorial staff.
The ideal candidate will have trade school education, three years of relevant experience, and a valid Arizona driver’s license, along with skills in building maintenance, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
To support the Diocese of Phoenix in its mission in service of the Body of Christ, this position, under the general supervision of the Director of Pastoral Care, assumes the responsibility to coordinate the maintenance work for the parish; performs skilled and semiskilled building maintenance and repairs requiring a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing and minor electrical work; responsible for general upkeep and cleaning of the parish, school and the grounds; performs related work as required.
