Job summary

Marina Management Group LLC is seeking a hard-working seasonal Maintenance worker to help keep Erie Basin Marina clean and beautiful. The role involves hands-on tasks, teamwork, and occasional solo work, with a focus on bathrooms, landscaping, and dock maintenance.

Position details include April 1st–October 31st, pay of $20.00 per hour, and in-person work. Previous maintenance experience is preferred but not required, and applicants must be able to lift 50 lbs and work on-site in varying

• Experience with electrical, plumbing or landscaping is a plus but not required.
• Willing to learn new skills and work outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain bathrooms to standards.
• Pick up litter and perform landscaping tasks.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, welding, or similar tasks as needed.
• Move boats as required and perform painting, staining, and dock repairs.

Overview
Erie Basin Marina is seeking a hard-working and diligent seasonal Maintenance worker to keep our marina looking clean and beautiful. The ideal candidate will possess ambition, as well as a good sense of teamwork. This role does involve hands-on activities--solo or as a team.

Duties:

• Ensuring bathrooms are cleaned, and up to standards.
• Picking up litter.
• Landscaping--weed whacking, lawnmowing, weed-killing, etc.
• Basic plumping, electrical, carpeting, welding, wood working, etc.
• Boat movement/operation.
• Painting/staining.
• Dock repairs.

Requirements:

• Maintenance experience not required, but preferred.
• Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Electrical, plumbing, landscaping, etc. experience preferred--but not required, as long as you're willing to learn.
• Able to be on your feet for 7 hours a day.
• Able to bend, crawl, climb, swim, and kneel.
• Working with hand tools.
• Boating experience is not required, but would be a plus.
• Must have a reliable source of transportation.
• Willing to help in other fields of the marina (dockhands, gas dock attendant, ship store).
• Working outside, rain or shine.
• Not afraid of water or heights.
• The want to learn new skills.

Job Type: Seasonal Full-time (April 1st to October 31st)

Pay: $20.00 per hour
