Job description

Job Summary : The Baseball Center NYC Maintenance Worker is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the facility.This role ensures the facility is in optimal condition for lessons, rentals and group sessions.

Key Responsibilities : Perform maintenance and repair of facility equipment (batting cages, netting, fences, iron mike machines).

Perform daily inspections to identify and address safety hazards or maintenance needs.

Remove debris and trash from cages and common areas.

Clean and restock restrooms.

Handle basic plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks as needed.

Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment; notify supervisor of restocking needs.

Set up and break down equipment.

Respond to emergency maintenance requests during operating hours.

Follow all safety guidelines and facility protocols.

Qualifications : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Ability to operate maintenance tools and light machinery.

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Schedule : Monday - Friday 10am-6pm. Weekends when needed.
