Job summary

St. Luke’s Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general duties in the hospital and medical office buildings, with occasional offsite assignments.

You may work weekends, holidays, and shift rotations, applying knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration and hardware while upholding the hospital’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Must have clerical abilities and two years experience with inventory control and maintenance materials.
• Knowledge of general maintenance tools and care of same; mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in a hospital setting is a plus.

Position Summary

Perform general maintenance duties in the hospital and medical office buildings as assigned. May have to go to an offsite building on occasion for maintenance duties. May have to work weekends, holidays, and shift work. Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values.

Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements

Education: Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Have clerical abilities and two years experience with inventory control and maintenance materials required.

Knowledge of general maintenance tools and care of same required. Mechanical experience / aptitude required, familiarity with various parts, e.g., refrigerator, hardware, electrical and plumbing.
