Job summary

St. Luke’s is seeking a part-time Facility Maintenance/Mechanic 1 to support routine maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment in Ketchum, ID. The role involves working variable shifts, primarily nights (Thu–Sat 8:30pm–6:30am) under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with repair work, troubleshooting basic issues, performing unscheduled repairs, and ensuring safety standards. A High School Diploma and valid driver’s license are required; no prior experience is necessary.

• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

What You Can Expect:

• Variable work schedule: Schedule will change and could be any shift but mostly Thursday, Friday, Saturday overnight 8:30pm-6:30am

The Facility Maintenance/Mechanic 1, under direct supervision, performs routine work in the repair and general maintenance of facilities, buildings, and equipment.

• Assists in the repair and maintenance of equipment or machinery.
• Troubleshoots and addresses basic repairs and maintenance.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs and/or maintenance as needed.
• Maintain and apply codes, standards, rules and regulations involved in assigned maintenance activities.
• Records maintenance and repair work performed and the costs of the work.
• May be responsible for infectious waste removal and light carpentry duties.
• Complies with appropriate safety practices and procedures and with applicable federal, State and local codes, regulations and requirements. Dispose of materials according to regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary departments.
• Handles basic issues using knowledge of procedures and policies. Refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
• Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

This role is subject to St. Luke's driving policy, which requires individuals in this role to not have a record of certain driving-related offenses within the past three (3) years, including but not limited to: Suspension of License , Driving Under the Influence, Reckless or Negligent Driving...

If hired, St. Luke's will conduct a driving records check upon hire and continuously thereafter for individuals hired into this role. Individuals will be required to maintain a valid, current driver's license
