Job summary

Integritus Healthcare in Bourne, MA is seeking a dependable maintenance technician to perform routine grounds, facility, and equipment upkeep. You will handle plumbing, electrical, carpentry tasks, service HVAC units, replace bulbs, and keep the environment safe and orderly in a healthcare setting.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy objects, follow procedures, and contribute to a calm, collaborative team focused on patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on grounds, parking areas, driveways, etc., including cutting, trimming, policing, sweeping, and other tasks as necessary or directed.
• Perform routine maintenance and repair on the facility and equipment, including plumbing, plastering, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, and other duties as directed, in accordance with established procedures.
• Clean windows and screens as directed; replace burned‑out light bulbs, including exit lights, overhead lights, fluorescent lights, room call lights, etc.; and perform cleaning duties in very high places.
• Service heating and cooling units/systems as specified by the manufacturer and in compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks as directed.
• Maintain the general plant and facility in good repair, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Maintain an atmosphere of positive emphasis and a calm environment throughout the facility.
• Assure maintenance supplies have been replenished in work areas as necessary.
• Assist others in lifting heavy equipment, supplies, etc., as directed or requested.
• Perform other related duties as may become necessary or as directed by the supervisor, department director, and/or administrator.
