Maintenance Welder Fabricator (Conroe, Tx)

Overview

The Maintenance Mechanic will oversee the performance and maintenance of large production machinery.

Starting Pay Range: $28.00 plus depending on experience.

Scheduled Shift: 7 am to 5 pm, Monday - Friday. OT & weekends as required.

Essential Functions

• Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines
• Thoroughly cleans machines and parts, removing and reinstalling as necessary
• Oils and lubricates moving parts to ensure effective performance
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts
• Installs replacement parts
• Identifies causes of unexpected breakdowns
• Repairs broken machines efficiently
• Prepares reports documenting work performed
• Maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
• Coordinates with Maintenance Supervisor for scheduled maintenance
• Makes modifications and tests machinery, consulting with product managers as needed
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

• At least 7 years of industrial maintenance mechanic experience
• Strong communication skills

Physical Demands
