Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking an Operations associate responsible for fueling all delivery equipment, and checking oil and fluids daily to ensure readiness.

You will assist the fleet shop, coordinate with night warehouse management, wash trailers per FSQA, and keep the yard clean and organized.

A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
• Basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Learn to drive and back up tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
