Job Summary
This is an Operations position responsible for checking oil, fluids, tire pressure, and fueling all equipment.
Responsibilities
- Fuel all delivery equipment daily.
- Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
- Assist the fleet shop when needed.
- Coordinate with fleet shop and night warehouse management to prepare equipment for use.
- Wash trailers per FSQA schedule.
- Maintain cleanliness of parking lot and keep it free of debris.
- Support night truck spotters in organizing the truck yard.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent experience and education.
Experience
- 1-3 months of related experience or training.
Professional Skills
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
- Effective at presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating.
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions.
- Learn to operate and back-up tractor-trailers and straight trucks.
Physical Demands
- Stand, walk, handle, reach, talk, and hear regularly.
- Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl frequently.
- Occasionally sit.
- Frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
