Landings Real Estate Group is seeking a Maintenance Trades Specialist in Fall River, MA to diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and structural systems across sites. The role focuses on preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and supporting operational excellence.

You will collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to minimize downtime, document work activities, and adhere to safety standards while delivering reliable infrastructure for the company's properties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance trades (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical repair).
• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to identify and resolve potential issues before they escalated.
• Diagnose malfunctions and execute timely repairs on a wide range of equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical circuits, and machinery.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and time spent, to support compliance and continuous improvement efforts.
• Collaborate with team members and management to prioritize maintenance tasks and develop strategies for minimizing downtime and optimizing resource use.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel

MAINTENANCE TRADES SPECIALIST

The Maintenance Trade Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the operational efficiency and safety of facilities and equipment across various sites. This position involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and structural systems to prevent downtime and extend asset life.

The specialist will collaborate closely with other maintenance and operations teams to implement preventive maintenance programs and respond promptly to emergency repair needs. By applying technical expertise and adhering to safety standards, the role contributes directly to the reliability and productivity of the organization’s infrastructure. Ultimately, the Maintenance Trade Specialist ensures that all maintenance activities support the company’s goals of safety, quality, and operational excellence.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU BRING

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in maintenance trades such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between job sites as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in multi-family maintenance, construction, or a single skilled trade (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, etc

Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant trade.

Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and compliance requirements.

Ability to operate specialized maintenance equipment and tools.

Previous experience working in a large industrial or commercial facility.

Solid carpentry skills - framing, finishing, cabinetry, drywall, or comparable work

Proficient in operating hand tools and power tools

Positive attitude, organized and energetic

Strong customer service orientation and solid interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires regular standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, crouching, and working in all weather conditions.
