Maintenance Technician – Tier 1 (Direct Hire)

Berne, IN
1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overtime as Needed

$20-$25/hr starting pay (Depending on experience)

Pro Resources is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Tier 1 for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing company in Berne, Indiana. This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical and electrical maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment and keeping operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair CNC machines, including lathes and mills
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, and facility systems
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
• Repair manual machines such as lathes, mills, and saws
• Identify and order replacement parts needed for repairs
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to complete maintenance tasks
• Use precision hand tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, booms, and scissor lifts
• Conduct routine safety and environmental checks
• Assist with maintenance projects and other plant support tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background check
• 2–3 years of experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and plant maintenance
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Experience using precision tools and measuring equipment
• Must provide personal hand tools required for maintenance work
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role
