Job summary

FIXX Energy is seeking a Maintenance Technologist to join our Smyrna, TN site. The role focuses on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repair of electrical, controls, and mechanical systems on the production line, with emphasis on PLCs/HMIs and automation.

This position requires hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, including working with Omron and Siemens PLCs, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
• Experience in automotive, battery, or electronics sectors is beneficial.
• Proficiency in PLCs/HMIs and Omron/Siemens PLCs preferred.
• Ability to read schematics and work with 480V 3-phase systems.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong documentation and data-analysis skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards (IATF16949, VDA 6.3, ISO14001).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain production-line equipment per specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Program and troubleshoot PLCs and HMIs.
• Maintain maintenance logs and reports.
• Ensure safety and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve KPIs.
• Support facility maintenance tasks.
