Job description

Maintenance Technicians - 1st & 3rd Shifts

Multiple experienced Maintenance Technicians are needed for an established manufacturing client. This is a permanent position for both 1st and 3rd shifts, offering a competitive hourly wage of $30.00 to $35.00. The role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment, requiring a strong background in PLC, controls, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair PLC-controlled production equipment.
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Interpret electrical schematics and PLC programs.
  • Ensure safety policies are followed and maintain a clean work environment.
  • Provide emergency repairs during production.
  • Diagnose problems, replace parts, test, and adjust equipment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; trade or technical certification is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with PLC, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read equipment manuals and work orders.
  • Ability to work independently, on 1st or 3rd shift, with excellent communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and move around the shop floor.
