Job summary

Regal theatre is seeking a full-time hourly Theatre Maintenance person in Fort Worth, TX. The role covers minor repairs across all theatre areas, including the projection booth, such as replacing fixtures and repairing equipment.

The position emphasizes consistent attendance, safety, and the ability to work with management on maintenance tasks; prior maintenance experience and cast member certification are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Repairing auditorium seats and ensuring they are in good working order.
• Tile work and sheet rock repair as needed.
• Train theatre personnel in safe minor repairs and maintenance.
• Change light bulbs and handle basic lighting, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Complete daily inspections reports.
• Coordinate with management for larger maintenance needs.
• Be familiar with arming, disarming and operating the alarm system.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures at all times.
• Maintain a professional appearance appropriate to duties.

Summary: The theatre maintenance person is a team member classified based on individual theatre needs, and/or employee availability, as a full-time hourly employee who is responsible for performing minor repairs in all areas of the theatre including projection booth (such as change out fixtures in the booth, repair fan motors, etc.).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Regular and consistent attendance.
• Ensuring all auditorium seats are in good working order and repairing broken ones in a timely manner.
• Tile work.
• Sheet rock repair.
• Training theatre personnel in the proper and safe way to perform minor repairs and/or maintenance
• Changing light bulbs as needed.
• Light plumbing and electrical
• Perform the daily inspections report.
• Other minor repairs as needed.
• Working with management to obtain qualified personnel for larger maintenance concerns.
• Have knowledge to arm, disarm and general operation of the alarm system.
• Be aware of all safety and emergency procedures.
• Professional appearance is required at all times conductive to the safety and comfort of the responsibilities performed*****

Pay Scale Information

$18.00/hour

Education/Experience

Prior maintenance experience preferred. Certified as a cast member. Ability to work independently.
