Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year general maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs electrical, plumbing, equipment, carpentry, and fire safety maintenance tasks by inspecting and repairing equipment.
• Checks appliances for proper operation and repairs building surfaces, fixtures, systems, and equipment.
• Maintains and completes required paperwork by daily log and entering all requests into Maximo.
• Completes routine and PM work orders timely and submits daily tasks.
• Keeps work areas clean and free of debris; complies with Wellstar Health System policies.

Job Summary

This is skilled work in the maintenance repair and installation in buildings and assigned areas using equipment as required. Carries out duties both independently and as a team member on specific assigned projects. Ensures inspections of assigned zones are carried out and deficiencies are recorded and corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates department repairs with the least amount of impact on patient care. Ensures all paperwork is completed on time and correctly.

Required Minimum Education

• High School Diploma / GED General

Required Minimum License(s) And Certification(s)

All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.

• VSDL - Valid State Driver's License or GADL - Georgia Driver's License

Required Minimum Skills
