Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Tech I to ensure each unit and building are in excellent condition. The successful candidate will perform general maintenance, handle repairs, and support make-ready units to create quality guest experiences.

Key duties include painting, appliance repair, minor electrical and carpentry work, landscape upkeep, and reporting system deficiencies. A professional, team-oriented attitude and basic handyman skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facility maintenance under supervision to preserve quality and efficiency.
• Perform service requests and repairs (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures (doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry).
• Clean and maintain outside landscape, including trash removal.
• Inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor; adhere to safety programs.

As a Maintenance Tech I, you’ll make dream vacations by providing quality results for our guests by using your maintenance skills, customer service expertise and guaranteeing each unit and building is in perfectly working order.

How You'll Make an Impact:

• Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.
• Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
• Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.
• Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor. Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Compensation

Generally starting at $17.50 - $17.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate of the candidate(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to experience, education, skills, training, and work location.
