Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring a Maintenance Tech I to provide quality facility services for our hotels and buildings in the United States. You’ll perform general maintenance, respond to service requests, and ensure units and spaces are in excellent working order.

You’ll bring basic handyman skills and be able to work independently or with others. The role offers a stable schedule with day hours and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner that preserves quality and efficiency.
• Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures (doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, cabinetry).
• Clean and maintain outside landscape: trash removal and general landscaping tasks.
• Clean and inspect building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Adhere to the company’s safety programs.

Hotel/Building/Facilities/Apartment Maintenance

The hourly rate for this role is $18.00 ***Open availability between 9am - 5:30pm***

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform all general facility maintenance under supervision in a manner which ensures the preservation of optimum quality and efficient production.
• Perform service requests and repairs as directed (Painting, appliance repair, minor electrical, carpentry).
• Perform maintenance work for make-ready units as directed.
• Apply basic knowledge of repair and replacement of general fixtures, general repair includes: doors, windows, walls, flooring, ceilings, roofs, furniture, and cabinetry.
• Clean and maintain outside landscape: including emptying trash, pick up of trash, general landscape work.
• Clean and inspect in building systems and report deficiencies to supervisor.
• Adhere to the company’s safety programs.
