KI's Manufacturing plant in Bonduel has an opening in our Maintenance Department for a Maintenance Technician with an emphasis on electrical work on our first shift.
The Maintenance Technician Position maintains and troubleshoots current production equipment. This position requires basic electrical knowledge using 110/220 (possible 480) voltage. We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined and familiar with general shop work. Welding experience, the ability to work alone & be self-directed, and willingness to learn & accept daily challenges are a must.
This is afirst shift position.The hours are primarily5a-2p Monday - Fridaywith overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months).
Candidate must be able to lift 50 lbs. and know how to read shop orders. Must have ability to work on feet for long periods of time. Candidate must pay attention to quality and detail work at a continuous pace and be able to work with minimal supervision. Successful completion of a drug screen is required for all employees. Advanced technical education is preferred.
