Job summary

American Beverage Crafts, LLC in Portland, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our brewery team. You will work on high-speed manufacturing equipment, troubleshoot and repair to keep production running smoothly. The role requires reading blueprints, understanding PLC-controlled systems, and performing preventive maintenance.

• 2+ years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting and PLC knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.

Responsibilities

• Work safely to complete work orders in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment including conveyors and gearboxes.
• Disassemble/reassemble machinery, replace bearings and pumps.
• Interpret schematics and manuals; follow SOPs and 6S.
• Document all work and calibrations in CMMS.

Night Shift – 6pm-6am Rotating schedule including weekends $30.00 per hour 12 hour shifts – guaranteed OT pay after 10 hours (1.5x)

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Portland, OR!

Job Description

• Work safely in a team or autonomously to complete work orders and provide maintenance support in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment, disassembling and reassembling of machinery, overhaul gearboxes, and replace bearings, bushings, pumps etc.
• Perform mechanical work e.g., conveyor bearing and chain replacement, major equipment overhaul, motor/gearbox replacements, valve and pump maintenance, and lube routes.
• Interpret schematics and equipment manuals.
• Adhere to plant safety and sanitation requirements; Complete assigned work efficiently and per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Be part of an effective work planning process that utilizes work order, planners, and part staging.
• Assist with process improvement and initiate change.
• Analyze knowledge & process data and make decisions on equipment maintenance and improvement activities.
• Ensure tools and cabinets stay in compliance with 6S.
• Document all work, calibrations and WO's using CMMS.
• Performing preventive maintenance
• Understands and is familiar with LOTO/confined entry and all other safety protocols.
• Maintains attendance and punctuality according to company policy.

Job Qualifications

• A team player, open to learn and willing to contribute to all areas of the brewery as needed.
• Understands basic electrical troubleshooting, with the understanding that they are controlled by PLC based control systems (Allen Bradley & Siemens); experience with basic mechanical skills; understand basic PM practices, work order systems, and TPM.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.
• LME/Journeyman electrician certification is preferred but not required.
• Welding preferred but not required.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with CMMS preferred (AMMS).
